Wild + Free Franklin, TN - SOLD OUT

September 20-21, 2024 | The Factory at Franklin

It's our 10th anniversary as a community, and we're coming back to Franklin, TN for our fall conference on September 20-21! Join 900 Wild + Free mamas for two days of insight, inspiration, and community.

This gathering will feature main-stage keynotes, great music by Aubrey & Jen, a maker market, access to The Factory's very own farmer's market right outside the door, and some big surprises we can't wait to share!

We may not all homeschool the same, but we're in this together.

Aubrey & Jen

Aubrey and Jen McGowan are high school sweethearts-turned-married soul mates who fill their home with music, babies, love, and laughter.

They write songs that tell the story of their lives and carry all the musical influences of their sweet Tennessee homeland. When not performing together, Aubrey & Jen can be found wrangling their kids, chickens, and dog at their country home, which is always undergoing a remodeling project.

You can find their EP of original songs wherever music is sold.

The Prams

This dream-pop duo is made up of husband-and-wife Jesse and Alta Keller who are based in Nashville where they make beautiful music and babies.

Alta, also known as Elta, showcased her solo electronic talent with the 2023 release "slow season." Jesse, an accomplished film composer, gained recognition for projects like "The Listening Road" and “The Luckiest Man" and is set to score the 2024 documentary "Croft."

Together, Jesse and Alta create music that weaves stories of love, conflict, loss, hope, and adventure into every song. Their emotive music has featured on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, TLC, ABC, BRAVO, and MTV.

 Wild + Free Maker Market

Each year at Wild + Free Franklin, we host a Maker Market in the Heritage Room at the Factory. The market is meant for makers or sellers of actual handmade goods, rather than corporate products, curriculum, or essential oils, for example. The Maker Market is now full.

For the first time, we're also welcoming a few select sponsors to be a part of the conference. This is for companies and organizations that serve homeschooling families with resources, products, and other services. To request to become a sponsor, email Becca at [email protected].

On Fathers and Children:

While we value the vital role of fathers in homeschooling and we love children, this event is for women only (nursing infants are welcome).

On Parking and Transportation:

Please know there is a farmer's market that meets on the grounds of The Factory on Saturday mornings, so parking will be limited. We encourage you to take Lyft or Uber or carpool with others to the venue if possible.

On Volunteers:

At each Wild + Free conference, we have a small but mighty team of women who volunteer to serve the nearly-900 mamas in attendance. We're looking for women with humble hearts, joyful spirits, and a strong work ethic to join our team. All volunteer spots are now filled.

On Matters of Faith:

Some of our presenters are women of faith, others are not. Everyone is welcome, but we realize this event might not be the right fit for those who want an exclusively faith-based event or an exclusively secular event.

On Cancellations and Refunds:

Tickets are transferable to another woman but are non-refundable. Tickets are not transferable to any other event. To sell your ticket, simply look for buyers at  #wildandfreefranklin and transfer your ticket to the purchaser with instructions provided on the ticket - or at this link.

On the Maker Market:

We're looking for makers of handcrafted, handmade goods, rather than corporate products, curriculum, or essential oils. If you are a company that serves homeschooling families, you can request to be one of a few select sponsors by emailing [email protected].

You can email [email protected] with any other questions.
