Wild + Free Franklin, TN - SOLD OUT

September 15-16, 2023 | The Factory

We're coming back to one of our places, Franklin, TN for our annual fall conference on September 15-16! Join nearly 900 Wild + Free mamas for two days of insight, inspiration, encouragement, and community.

This gathering will feature main-stage keynotes, great music by The Hunts, a maker market, access to The Factory's very own farmer's market right outside the door, and some big surprises we can't wait to share!

We may not all homeschool the same, but we're in this together.

Aubrey & Jen

Aubrey and Jen McGowan are high school sweethearts-turned-married soul mates who fill their home with music, babies, love, and laughter.

They write songs that tell the story of their lives and carry all the musical influences of their sweet Tennessee homeland. When not performing together, Aubrey & Jen can be found wrangling their kids, chickens, and dog at their country home, which is always undergoing a remodeling project.

You can find their EP of original songs wherever music is sold

2023 Legacy Award Winner

Each year, we give the Wild + Free Legacy Award to a mother for a lifetime of heart-led homeschooling. We recognize a mother who has graduated her children and has inspired others with her character, devotion, and heart.

Often, the work of motherhood goes unrecognized until long after the kids are grown. This is why we want to call attention to these noble women.

The 2020 recipient was Toni Weber.
The 2021 recipient was Gaye Keough.
The 2022 recipient was Sally Clarkson.

We're excited to announce the recipient of this year's Wild + Free Legacy Award at the 2023 Franklin, TN conference.

On Fathers and Children:

While we value the vital role of fathers in homeschooling and we love children, this event is for women only (nursing infants are welcome).

On Hotels:

We do not have a partner hotel for this event and encourage you to look for discount hotel sites, as well as AirBnB, for local accommodations.

On Parking and Transportation:

Please know there is a farmer's market that meets on the grounds of The Factory on Saturday mornings, so parking will be limited. We encourage you to take Lyft or Uber or carpool with others to the venue if possible.

On Volunteers:

At each Wild + Free conference, we have a small but mighty team of women who volunteer to serve the nearly-900 mamas in attendance. We're looking for women who have a desire to roll up their sleeves and pour into other mamas at the event. - (All of our volunteer spots are now filled.)

On Matters of Faith:

Some of our presenters are women of faith, others are not. Everyone is welcome, but we realize this event might not be the right fit for those who want an exclusively faith-based event or an exclusively secular event.

On Cancellations and Refunds:

Tickets are transferable but non-refundable. You can transfer them to any other woman if you're not able to attend. Simply look for buyers at  #wildandfreefranklin and transfer your ticket to the purchaser with instructions provided on the ticket - or at this link.

On the Maker Market:

We're looking for makers or sellers of actual handmade goods, rather than corporate products, curriculum, or essential oils. To apply click here.

You can email [email protected] with any other questions.

 Wild + Free Maker Market

Each year at Wild + Free Franklin, TN, we host a Maker Market where mamas can showcase and sell their handmade offerings. We're looking for makers or sellers of actual handmade goods, rather than corporate products, curriculum, or essential oils, for example.

We're offering three different sponsorship packages. You can choose between just a booth space or an enhanced package that includes a full-page ad in our souvenir notebook. All of our packages include the opportunity to give attendees a special surprise in their shwag bags.
